What does the Death Book Reveal?

Wouldn't you like to find out what the Death Book reveals about 2012, the Maya, and their visions of the future?

Days before her murder, Anne-Marie Bakke, my colleague from graduate school days, sent me her hand-written copy of some excerpts from the Death Book.

Over the coming months I will publish here some of her notes on the revelations.

Death Book - An Adventure novel!

Archaeologists working at Copán, Honduras recover a rare Maya Codex, a book buried for over a millennium in the ruins.  This Death Book predicts cataclysmic events, including those at the end of the current life cycle in December 2012!  The researcher responsible for the find perishes in an air crash and unknown intruders subsequently murder his wife.  The Death Book was lost to history once again. Or was it?

A professor stumbles across clues that lead him on an adventure of self-discovery, romance, and intrigue. Would the Death Book reveal the key to saving humankind from its ultimate demise?  Could the journey help Dr. Vinny Alfano salvage some respectability?  And how might a sophisticated Honduran femme fatale help solve the riddles of the Maya legacy? This adventure novel blends mystery, romance, and history as Dr. Alfano travels through Honduras to find the lost manuscript – and another chance for love.
